Koh Phangan Half Moon Party is famous for its good music. It provides an original blend of tribal house and trance beats for an unbeatable party night. All music is mixed live and the party showcases the latest remixes and unreleased tracks from our private studio and worldwide connections. Koh Phangan Half Moon Party Festival takes place twice a month, one week before and one week after full moon.
Half Moon Party
Half Moon Festival is presented by ‘Harmony Team’ which provides the latest sound system, highest quality equipment and professional DJs, VJs, live artists and performers (Thai & International). The event has Indoor & Outdoor dancing arenas, as well as three bars and food stalls. The area is Covered by artist’s UV decorations, there are visuals projected on two big screen, there is also a fire show across from the main dance floor.
Koh Phangan Half Moon Festival tends to become the most enjoyed of all the moon parties on Koh Phangan and it unanimously ‘Satisfies The Soul?’ of the people taking part. We have to say that, even if it’s not a beach party, the party location next to Baan Tai village is absolutely fabulous! There is only one sound (from House to pseudo Techno Trance) and the Djs (changing during the season) are following each other, every 2 to 3 hours.
The music here is generally correct, but you might find it repeatitive if you go there on a regular basis. There are different dance floors, as well as the three bars, allowing the people to fluently move around. Koh Phangan Half Moon Party Festival happens twice a month, it would be a pity not to be on Koh Phangan and miss it!

Koh Phangan Half Moon Party Festival is located just next to Baan Tai village. To go there, just turn at the 7 eleven in Bantai, pass the Wat Po (herbal sauna temple) and follow the signs on the roadside. There is an entry fee of 500 THB per person, one drink included!

Been to the half moon party with my friends a few months ago and we had a real good time with loads of fun.
The music there didn’t hit my personal taste but it was sort of okay. party decoration looked nice during the night and the place was simply packed with around 1.500 other tourists.
everyone seemed to be happy probably cause of the buckets we had
we left early that night but i can recommend this place. sad thing is that our camera got stolen which was locked under the motrobike seat … but i guess shit sometimes happens

This place is special for me since I met my thai girlfriend there feb 16 2009. We are now engaged and live together in Sweden!
The music early in the evening is not really in my taste, but later when they start to bang out psy trance I feel euphoria! I have been there four times now and will come back for one month in january. I can recommend the after party at ban sabii which start at 7 am and close at 2 am the day after. No entrance, 100 baht taxi and very, very good psy. More melodic trance music than halfmoon. Its located under roof on a beatiful beach with good view to koh samui.
Ban sabai partis are held after: fullmoon, half moon, shiva moon, jungle experience and blackmoon parties.
