Come and explore some of the worlds top dive sites around Koh Pha-Ngan Island. The Gulf of Thailand is full of incredible dive sites. We have been diving here for more than 10 years and since 2004 we are also teaching at Phangan Fun Factory Dive Center. On our daily diving trips we explore some famous dive sites around Koh Phangan Island, like Sail Rock, South West Pinnacle, Chumphon Pinnacle, Koh Yippon, Koh Wao, Koh Tao Island and also local dive sites at the west coast of Koh Phangan Island.

SSI Dive Center

These dive sites feature rocks and formations that developed into reefs and attract massive schools and swarms with their cleaning stations. Local dive sites around Koh Phangan are reefs just off the shore and can be even more beautiful during night dives when lots of fish and rays seek shelter. Cuttlefish can also be seen at night.

However, these local reefs are sometimes situated up to 200 m offshore and to protect the coral reef we only do explore the local coral reefs by dive boat.

Our brand new and purpose build dive boat ‘Sea Diamond’ transports up to 20 divers with an unmatched speed to the popular diving sites. The dive vessel is equipped with the latest fish finder technology and even boasts a range of adjustable floodlights for night dives. With the introduction of this new dive boat we are also able to reduce greenhouse gas emissions per dive trip up to 60% while cutting the traveling time by nearly 80% compared to the old diving boat.

The SSI Dive Center Phangan Fun Factory Diving is an affiliated partner of the SSS Recompression Chamber Network. Our safety standards fulfill European CE standards and we put our divers and students safety always first. And in case something should happen we have you immediately transferred to the neighboring island Koh Samui where the recompression chamber is located.
